the proceeds are given to the British Columbia Children's Hospital.|
The Peach City Beach Cruise is a three day car show and one of the largest in British Columbia. Car owners and enthusiasts come from far and wide (from Texas to Manitoba in 2009) with their classic, antique and very special cars. The cars, all shapes, all sizes, all ages, line Lakeshore Drive from mid-day Friday to mid-day Sunday. Many of the cars take part in the lake to lake parade, held on Friday evening. We have vendors and live entertainment in Gyro Park on all three days, old boys with old toys in Lakawana Park, and a large collector car auction on the Saturday, organized by the Electric Garage. Penticton is nestled in the pristine and picturesque South Okanagan Valley between beautiful Okanagan and Skaha Lakes with their spectacular beaches, Canada's vacation paradise. Across from Okanagan Lake in Gyro Park there will be ongoing entertainment from Friday night until Sunday noon. |
The governing body of the Peach City Beach Cruise is the Penticton Historic Automobile Society, a registered non-profit society with the Province of British Columbia.

Children's is home to many specialized paediatric services available nowhere else in the province, including B.C.'s trauma centre for children, neonatal intensive care, kidney and bone marrow transplants, open heart surgery, neurosurgery and cancer treatment. Children's is also a leading provider of diagnostic and laboratory services for B.C.
